Bathurst Basketball United (BBU) is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable sporting environment that provides ongoing support and development for players, coaches, referees and officials.

By working in partnership with the community and embracing the values of BBU, a culture will be created where everyone feels valued and respected. Members will be empowered to actively commit to advancing basketball in Bathurst and Central Western NSW.

WJL REGULAR SEASON
Teams will compete in the 2025 Spalding Waratah Western Junior League (WJL). The rounds and dates are announced by Basketball NSW.

In 2025, teams will travel to the NSW Riverina to compete in Griffith, Narrandera and Leeton.
There will also be rounds in the Bathurst region where we encourage home game supporters to attend and show support for our Goldminer teams.

Round 1 – February 22-23 2025

FINALS
The finals will be held May 10-11 2025 at Griffith Regional Sports


JOHN MARTIN COUNTRY TOURNAMENT
Teams will compete in the John Martin Country Tournament (JMCT) during the June Long Weekend, June 7th – 9th, 2025. The venues for the tournament will be announced by Basketball NSW. In 2024, the tournament featured venues in Bathurst, Maitland, Central Coast, Shoalhaven, Newcastle, and Illawarra.
